AUBURN, Wash. — The family of a man shot and killed by Auburn police in 2019 has reached a settlement with the city. The city of Auburn will pay the family of Enosha Strickland Junior $5.9 million. It is the highest amount the city has paid to resolve an excessive force claim. A room in the Strickland family home stands still in time as a place to visit memories of their son EJ Strickland.
