The Stritmatter Firm presents a rare opportunity to learn from Harvard trained lawyers and instructors who have argued multiple cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. One month ago, Zimmer, Citron & Clarke left Big Law to follow their hearts and start a plaintiff litigation boutique firm, focusing on dispositive motions and appellate work around the country. This is their first CLE as a new firm.

David Zimmer, Eric Citron, and Edwina Clarke recently founded Zimmer, Citron & Clarke, an appellate-focused litigation boutique.  The firm serves as a strategic partner for plaintiff-side trial firms navigating complex legal issues on appeal and at all stages of litigation.  David, Eric, and Edwina each clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court.  David and Eric met as co-clerks for Justice Kagan and Edwina clerked for Justices Souter and Breyer.

David and Edwina previously spent almost a decade working together in Goodwin Procter’s Supreme Court and Appellate practice.  David has argued three cases at the U.S. Supreme Court and has been regularly ranked in Chambers USA in the Nationwide Appellate Rankings.  He also teaches the Federal Courts Clinic and Seminar at Harvard Law School.

Edwina has similarly handled cases at all levels of the federal and state judiciary, and she has been repeatedly named to Benchmark Litigation’s “40 & Under Hot List.”  She has extensive experience analyzing and handicapping cases in the Supreme Court and elsewhere for investment firms and litigation funders.

Eric previously spent a decade at two leading appellate litigation boutiques representing plaintiffs in high-stakes litigation in the U.S. Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals.  He also worked in the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice and is particularly sought after in enforcement-side antitrust cases.  Eric teaches the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic at Harvard Law School and has handled multiple cases at the U.S. Supreme Court, including arguing Georgia v.
