The presentation will provide and discuss the elements of a checklist of considerations important to a new practitioner when investigating and evaluating whether to take on a plaintiff personal injury client, with “green flags”, “yellow flags”, and “red flags” that bear on whether to accept representation. The checklist will provide an overview of important considerations when (1) assessing the attorneys’ resources, (2) performing the intake interview, (3) undertaking pre-claim investigation, (4) identifying collateral process hurdles, and (5) finalizing representation and/or rejection.

This CLE is designed for litigators new to personal injury work or considering a transition to plaintiff-side practice.
