The only time the Stritmatter Firm retreats… is when we go on a retreat

At every firm retreat, we celebrate and honor our clients. Some are the loving family members of those who are no longer with us. Others have suffered lifelong injury, but persist and overcome adversity to lead rich lives. All of them touch and inspire us to be better lawyers, leaders, and people.

Starting on April 23, all the lawyers in the firm ventured to the beautiful estate of Keith and Lynn Kessler in Hoquiam, Washington, for our annual firm retreat.  The Kessler residence sits on a bluff looking out over the ocean, with a stairway leading down to a private cove.

We did some work, and learned that some defense lawyers think everything bad that happens is an unavoidable accident.

We played croquet.  The rules were all in Keith’s head, and may or may not have changed during the game.  It’s house rules.

We ate in Moclips.

And we may have settled a big case or 47.
